Services Available?
UHMS members have access to the following services:
Access to electronic resources is restricted to use within the Medical Center Library & Archives; we cannot provide remote access to licensed electronic resources Copies of journals articles may be requested through our Document Delivery service for a fee. You will need an account to use this service -- please contact the Medical Center Library & Archives Document Delivery/Interlibrary Loan Dept. at 919.660.1138 or email mcldd@mc.duke.edu for more information.
Reference Services
The following are available for a fee: In person and online reference services as well as assistance in searching databases such as MEDLINE (via PubMed or Ovid) and CINAHL
Research requests will be billed to individual members at $25 per request for requests that take up to 1 hour. If research requests are deemed to require longer than 1 hour, the Library will provide the requesting member an estimate for time and costs before work begins.

Archives Reference Assistance
