A

A multidisciplinary index to research and publications by Africans and about Africa. Produced by NISC South Africa, it combines dozens of databases sourced from Africa, Europe and North America. Useful for those interested in African studies and research, Africa-Wide Information covers millions of news articles, scholarly articles, books, reports, theses and grey literature. Millions of citations and abstracts include pertinent information from all 56 African countries, as well as the surrounding islands.

SEARCH is the USDA National Agricultural Library’s main search tool. It provides simple, one-stop access to more than 8 million records covering all aspects of agriculture and related disciplines. It includes results from the Catalog and Articles database (AGRICOLA), PubAg, and the NAL Digital Collections (NALDC)
ALTBIB (Bibliography on Alternatives to the Use of Live Vertebrates in Biomedical Research and Testing) was developed by the NLM to provide access to PubMed citations related to alternatives to animal testing, some offering free full text.
This database, created in 2000, is on the refinement of housing, husbandry, care, and use of animals in research. It is updated every four months with scientific articles, books, and other publications related to the welfare of animals. Full text not included.

Due to a lack of funding for OTseeker, content on OTseeker from 2016 and beyond is not as comprehensive as previously. Recommended that users of OTseeker also search for more recent evidence using other databases as well.
