Many of the software tools listed on this guide are installed on data stations dedicated to projects involving data analytics, data visualization, and statistics. Data Stations are located on the Level 2R of the Medical Center Library & Archives and are available to the public Monday - Friday from 8a - 6p. Those with Duke Health badges have 24 hour access, 7 days a week. Data stations are currently unavailable due to coronavirus restrictions.
The Duke community may also download much of the software for free through Duke OIT Software Licensing and on this guide you may also find Lynda.com tutorials accessible with a Duke netID. Perkins & Bostock libraries, on main campus, provide classes on many data related topics. Find workshops at library.duke.edu/data/
Use Rate My Visualization to make sure you have strip unnecessary clutter and add appropriate emphasis to make your data story shine.
