Updated Hours and Services for the Library:
Book a seat at the library for studying:
Designated seats in the Medical Center Library are now available for individual reservation, Monday – Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm.
To ensure you will have a place to work or study, reserve a seat before you arrive. The seats are located on Levels 2R and 3 of the Medical Center Library; Level 1 remains closed. The maximum length you can reserve per day is 6 hours. For example, you can make one six-hour reservation or 3 two-hour reservations scattered through the day. Once you reserve a seat, you will receive a confirmation email with a code you will use to check-in upon arrival. Bring your phone, tablet, or laptop to the library with this reservation confirmation to check in at the Entrance Lobby Desk.
Once you check in at the Entrance Lobby Desk and get your library pass, you will also need to check in at the reserved seat (table, cubicle, study room). Seats that are not claimed will be released.
Need study times after 4pm or Sundays?
Although the Medical Library is not open past 4pm or on the weekend, other libraries such as Perkins and Rubenstein do have evening options (and Sunday from 3pm to 11pm on both West Campus and Lilly)! You can see the full list of study spaces and sign up for a spot on the Find Your Seat at the Library page.
Please contact me or visit our Library Services & Resources During COVID-19 page if you have any questions.
Computers, printers, and scanners are not currently available in the Medical Library.
