Compiled in 2012, this is a list of the 47 plants that can usually be found in the Medical Center Library & Archives Medical Garden.
Some plants are seasonal, meaning they may be dormant until early spring, summer or fall, or their foliage disappears as the weather becomes colder or hotter.
Please note that these plants have been used medicinally in the past, but may also have toxic or poisonous properties or cause serious allergic reactions (‡) as well. Please be very careful when using any of these plants. We suggest that you research the properties of any plant before using it for medical or health-related treatments.
