Duke Inclusion of Special Populations in Clinical Research Enrollment Dashboard
The Inclusion of Special Populations (ISP) in Clinical Research Enrollment Dashboard shows the representation of participants from special populations in Duke clinical research with regular updates. The aim of the ISP Dashboard is to inform the public about inclusion of underrepresented participants in Duke clinical research as part of the effort to reach health equity. The ISP Dashboard gives information about representation on the following demographic variables: age, gender, race, ethnicity, and rurality. The latest update of the ISP Dashboard includes participations in clinical research through August 6, 2024, which includes 5,660 protocols (any status), 327,480 participations, and 223,449 individual participants (68% of all participations). Based on associated zip codes, about 72% of participants live in North Carolina, of whom 29% are in Durham County.
