EndNote
A desktop-based program that is one of the most sophisticated reference management tools available. EndNote is excellent for large projects like systematic reviews and is best for deduplicating references.
Zotero
A free, easy-to-use tool to help you collect, organize, annotate, cite, and share research. It is best for capturing different types of references (e.g. Websites) and group work.
RefWorks
A web-based tool that helps researchers manage their research, write, and collaborate with others. It is best for group work; inserting citations and bibliographies in almost any style.
