About the Grey Literature and How To Find It

Searching the grey literature can be a daunting task. You should search those resources that make the most sense for your research question. At a minimum, consider searching Abstracts and Conferences. If your question involves drugs and interventions, check trial registries and pharma data. Also check out the papers and reports of relevant stakeholder organizations.

SRC Grey Literature - Tips and Checklist
There are three specific categories of grey literature that we search: Regulatory Information, Trial Registries, Abstracts and Conferences. On the tracking worksheet there is a list all the sources the SRC routinely searches (bulleted titles) for its own reports, others listed serve as reminders that they are available if further research is needed or if somebody asks for suggestions of additional places to locate grey literature.
