To read or download an eBook on the ProQuest and EBSCO platforms, an account is required. In the upper right of the platform's front page, you can follow the "account" or "sign in" link create an account.
ProQuest and EBSCO eBook collections manage check outs and downloads using Adobe Digital Editions or ADE. Not every eBook is available to more than one person at a time. ADE manages check outs - similar to a print book which, when checked out, is not available for use by another patron.
Viewing, Downloading, & Other Functionalities
Desktop: Adobe Digital Editions 1.71.1 or higher is required for offline viewing.
Apple and Android devices: Bluefire Reader or EBSCOhost is recommended.
Kindle: PDFs can be created int the eBook Full Text view and transferred using Send to Kindle.
Checkout is one week on the above recommended programs. Login required.
Citations can be copied or exported individually from the Tool options on the righthand side of the individual book page. Choose cite to copy the Ebsco citation or choose export to export to a reference manager. To copy or export multiple citations at once select folder icons first. Once done with selection, go to Folder" at top of page, select all and choose export tool. Multiple citations can be emailed as well from same page if preferred. Login not required.
