Finding Full-Text Articles

These links provide easy ways to verfy citations or to search for the full-text of articles when you already have the citation.

Journal Information

  • Journal Citation Reports (Impact Factors)
    Search this database to find out impact factors for specific titles or for all journals in a specialty. Impact factors indicate how important or popular a journal is by analyzing how many times its articles have been cited.
  • Journal Abbreviations
    Search the NCBI Journals database to determine a journal abbreviation from its full title, or vice versa.
  • Top 100 Journals
    A list of the most influential journals in biology and medicine, as determined by the Special Library Association (SLA).

    Citation software that can be downloaded for free by Duke students, faculty and staff.

    Web-based citation management software accessible to Duke students, faculty and staff.
